We went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for our 10 year anniversary. By the end of our trip we were tired of people asking if we were on our honeymoon, and then trying to explain away their shocked expressions when we said it was our 10 year anniversary.

We rode horseback through the valley past the villages and mango orchards. Which tasted heavenly right off the trees! We had to cross several rivers while riding the horses and managed to stay on despite the water rising to our saddles. I must admit it was kinda refreshing. We saw some natural hot springs that were beautiful. You could sit in the hot pools and pick bananas off the trees above you!

We took a mini cruise to an island called Calleta and went SCUBA diving. It was a blast. We got to pet some beautiful spotted water snakes and starfish. The fish were beautiful, huge and very curious in who we were.
We had a great time sharpening our negotiation skills at the flea market where we picked up some gifts for all the family back home who were kind enough to watch Micah while we were away. Here we are trying on some Mexican wrestling masks.
( Always a great gift right?!)

We also ate amazing food, heard beautiful music while we ate and saw really cool sculptures all along the city's boardwalk. It was perfectly romantic and memorable. It will be hard to beat.

That looks like an awesome trip! Maybe you'll just have to go back there every year now.
