Yesterday Micah's new big boy bed was delivered. ( Compliments of Opapa and Mammy- thanks again folks!!!) We got it all set up while Micah took his afternoon nap. When he awoke we did the big bedroom makeover reveal and showed him how to properly jump on a bed. I took some pictures to remember how teeny tiny he looks on his twin size bed.
Later that night we read to him in his bed and put all his favorite toys and blankets in with him. Then we left and hoped for the best. I was sure that he would end up crying himself to sleep on the floor ..., sure enough we heard him climb out of his bed and cry and bang at his door. Then after only a minute or so we heard a bunch of grunting and assumed he was trying to climb back in bed... then it was silent.
We checked in later that night and he was sleeping sweetly amongst all his favorite things. He did not fall out of bed last night and slept through the night. He even slept in till 9am. He might have even slept longer but I burnt the bacon I was cooking and the fire alarm went off and thats when he woke up!

Congrats to the big boy! What an accomplishment on the first night! Why weren't you sleeping in with him instead of makin' bakin'?
Our star boy.....we had no doubt he would love being a big boy!!!
