On Christmas Eve we met up with lots of friends for sledding.
Then we all went to a warming house nearby to thaw by a fire place and drink hot cocoa and donuts.
The kids all had a great time taking turns climbing in a hockey stick holder.
Our family Christmas Eve party was great. After an amazing meal that Aaron made we played our gift game. This year the theme I picked was mugs.
Among the mugs were a set of mustaches,
And a toilet.
This was an exciting Christmas and Micah was in total anticipation for Santa to come. Sure enough he was amazed to see that Santa brought gifts and ate all the cookies and milk that was left for him the night before. Next to his empty glass Santa left us a crazy straw! ( seen with Claire below)
Claire got lots of "baby oranges" in her stalking. They are her favorite!
New exciting toys for everyone. Mommy even got an automatic car starter because I guess Santa heard all the complaining she does over having to get the kids into a cold car everyday!
As per family tradition after opening gifts we went to a movie in our pajamas. We saw a special showing of Polar Express at the Mall Of America. The kids actually sat quietly for the entire movie. It's a Christmas miracle!!!
So much fun can really wear a guy out...
