We took the kids to Como Zoo today to ring in the Noon Year. It was so fun, we got to decorate our own party hats, play games, see animals, listen to live music and finally at noon they did a big countdown and dropped a giant net of balloons from the ceiling onto the crowd. I think we'll do this every year at least until they are old enough to stay up till the midnight countdown.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to join my family for our traditional New Years Eve dinner of king crab legs and shrimp.
